Andy Mars Photography 2011 Highlights (Part 1)
My good friend Photographer Extraordinaire, Eli Reed was awarded the Lucie Award for Documentary Photography on 10/24/11. During his stay in NYC I saw his Artist Talk sponsored by the Lucie Foundation at Splashlight Studios in Soho. His special friends came (from all over the world including, Alaska, California, Texas, Delaware & France to see him accept his award. On 10/25/11 we went to see a great photo exhibit by Tequila Minsky at Soho Photo.

2011 Thanksgiving Parade
On the beautiful morning of 11/24/11, I photographed the Macy's Parade (Central Park West) from a terrace on West 73rd Street. The surroundings for the parade were interesting as you will see in my photographs...Can you find singer Cee Lo Green on the float? I used some cool presets in Lightroom. You can get them free from the OnOne Software website! Walking in the street I came across a vintage yellow truck & put my "spin" on this first image:
