Inspiration from Two Special Photography Artists

Early this month I had the wonderful opportunity to spend time with two brilliant Photo Artists Jill Enfield and Susan Bloom.  They have both been guest speakers at Professional Women Photography (PWP) monthly meetings. My good friend Photographer Extraordinaire, Eli Reed was awarded the Lucie Award for Documentary Photography on 10/24/11. During his stay in NYC I saw his Artist Talk sponsored by the Lucie Foundation at Splashlight Studios in Soho.  His special friends came (from all over the world including, Alaska, California, Texas, Delaware & France to see him accept his award.  On 10/25/11 we went to see a great photo exhibit by Tequila Minsky at Soho Photo.

2011 Thanksgiving Parade

On the beautiful morning of 11/24/11, I photographed the Macy's Parade (Central Park West) from a terrace on West 73rd Street. The surroundings for the parade were interesting as you will see in my photographs...Can you find singer Cee Lo Green on the float? I used some cool presets in Lightroom. You can get them free from the OnOne Software website!  Walking in the street I came across a vintage yellow truck & put my "spin" on this first image:
