23rd Street Crosstown Bus Stop, NYC
Sitting on the bus waiting to go to the next stop, I thought the texture in the scratched glass was interesting so I pressed the macro button on my G11 to get a soft focus painterly effect. Included are images from different locations along 23rd street:

August 2010 Bronx Zoo
Below are photos taken last month at the Bronx Zoo and New Rochelle in the late afternoon. I added some textured layers or vignettes to some of these photos for a vintage effect:
